Garut is located in the West Java and it is one of the popular Indonesia Java International Destination. This is a hill station which has been in existence for a long time and it is surrounded by volcanoes, crystal clear lakes and mountains. Garut, an Indonesia Java International Destination is famous for its temples that are worshipped by Hindus and it attracts hikers as it is surrounded by many mountains. The northern part of the Garut city is being developed for improving the economic condition and the southern part of the city is reserved for preserving the beautiful scenery and the beautiful coastline. The population of the Garut city comprises of mostly Muslims and the occupation that is done by a majority of people is farming. “Dodol Garut” is a famous food which is a kind of sweet dish made from rice flour and sugar and various flavor. The oranges from the Garut region are also very famous as they are considered to be of high quality.
